TEACHING DIGITAL IMAGING

is a pedagogical challenge. To meet that challenge, Tom Shirley and I created a complete course of Photoshop tutorials. They represent the digital imaging workflow, from scanning to printing. The course is comprised of twenty-four Quicktime movies with narrated Photoshop demonstrations, and text files recapping each step of the realtime demos. We offer these to our present and future students. We offer these free.

In this spirit, I invite those committed to evolving the best ways to teach digital imaging to do two things--to suggest improvements to these "Digital Imaging Take-Home Professor" tutorials, and to contribute your own work (narrated Quicktime movies, PDF files) to this ongoing project.
